Archery Club — UW

Who we are: The UW archery club is a club of recreational archers who are committed to having fun while shooting arrows.

What we do: We shoot archery for recreation. Feel free to drop by if you are interested! Just show up! We also have socials and cookouts, with good food outside the "cow palace".

Who is Elligible: People eligible to participate are currently enrolled undergraduate/graduate students or UW staff/faculty with paid Rec Sports fees.

Practices:Every Sunday 5-8pm (Academic year only)
                At the Stock Pavilion [map]

Equipment: Traditional recurve bows, arrows and miscellaneous equipment provided. Recurve and compound archers are welcome, but NO crossbows please. If you are going to be bringing a bow please transport it in the proper legal manner, fully in a case or unstrung. Storage is now somewhat limited for personal equipment, so contact Seung-ri if you need storage.

Bring your own bow if you have one! We always welcome that! Please transport it following the proper laws, fully in a case or unstrung.

+Change of Presidency
Rob has become so busy that he can hardly keep up with life. So there is a new club President, Seung-ri Lee. Not sure who this is? Then you better show up to practice to meet him. Got a question? Get a hold of him here.

+ Semester Practice Schedule
Practice will be going full strenght this semester with practice every week. Practice begins at 5pm this semester and will go until 7 or 8pm depending on interest.

+ Club Dues
Club dues will be $15 for the whole semester. These fees cover the upkeep of the club. We use it to replace arrows and buy new equipment. Club fees are charge at the second practice. Check and cash accepted.

+ Tournament Dates:Tournaments will be held based on interest of members. Treats will be procured for such events :) Holiday themed tournaments are always fun. Got an idea? Email Seung-ri.

+ Winter Break Practices:
Archery Club will not be holding practices over the Winter Break, but will resume Spring semester!

+ Computer People Unite!
Got some knowledge of website design and maintenance? Get a hold of Dustin or Rob to give them a hand.
